Dave Quinn returned to Crawford bay this week to introduce our students to water science!
We had two fantastic days outside learning water science skills: We measured the velocity of the creek, the slope of the river and the volume off the water passing by every second. Fun stuff!
Prior to heading out to the creek, we spent a morning working at the stream trailer learning about watersheds and river banks. The stream trailer allowed the students to get their hands wet and design their own river bed.. then we opened up the water and tested our designs!
